The original 383 4bbbl can be updated by a 383 magnum intake. The
diffference is quite noticable.However compared to a Perfomer RPM the
Performer RPM will have it all over both in every area just like ugly all
over a moose!

My guess is The old stock 4barrel will be more on the torque side-smaller
shorter plane.
I have my original 65 manifold on my HP383. I love it. I use an edelbrock
650 cfm w it and a one inch spacer.
