exhaust manifold swap

I picked up a 1965 C-body Fury that someone put a stock, two barrel
318LA in. It also came with a new dual exhaust system installed, but
the pipes are too big to seal well to the tiny 318 manifold flanges, and
they leak like crazy. The openings are sort of funnel shaped, and don't
use gaskets.

I'd like to swap in later 360 manifolds, which dump in the same places,
but have larger flanges which would seal great to the pipes. Will these
360 manifolds, which are larger, have bigger head ports, and larger
openings have any negative impact on this engine? Or should I get
smaller front pipes that fit the 318 manifolds?

thanks
