Yes-to my flimsy knowledge at least in 65.  My 65 383 says 383 on the hood ornament but other 65 and 66 furys w 318 blocks didn't have any numbers except. the 426 did - these are from the cars I have run across.

wasn't there one year that plymouth had where only the big blocks were  
labeled, and the 318s and 6s had the same ornament with no numbers??????
