RE: Battery Relocation Question

I googled the Two guys website but the video stops short of 
mentioning not to use the weding cable.
What I caught in the episode was to do with welding cable not carrying the appropriate amount of amperage to the starter. I too have run #2 welding cable but my ride won't be on the road until the spring.
If both you and dodger have had no issues with this then maybe someone with electrical expertise can chime in.
any help appreciated
