My cars have 2 types of what you call, wrap. It is a cloth tape, same width as a roll of electrical tape. It is also black. It is used in the area in front of the radiator support. After it passes thru the holes in the radiator support into the engine bay, it uses electrical tape. The tape wraps over itself 1/2 the width of the tape all the way till the specific wire comes out for its individual destination. The length of the individual wire without tape on it depends on the length away from the main harness in which it is seperated from. This way, the tape is double the thickness of a single, non overlapping thickness. Hope this helps. joe machado -----Original Message----- From: Mike Phelps <mikeph@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sat, 28 Feb 2009 4:18 pm Subject: Wiring harness wrap Any suggestions on what to use to wrap my wiring harness with? It doesn't have to be OEM but I'd like it to look correct. Also is the whole harness wrapped, even what is not seen? I guess it should be to protect the wiring, huh?
