Re: steering box and max wedge exhaust manifold (paint color)

I bought my MW manifolds from Mancini and they came in a gray cast iron color. I didn't paint them as the heat would turn any hi temp paint a weird color then. I would recommend a MC heat shield for it too. My manifolds get hot enough to melt the plastic wiring loom tabs almost 12" away on the fender. Don't want to boil your brake fluid.
