I will soon get my car back from the paint shop and wanted to tackle the heater problem. The vents controls that switch from A/C to heat to defrost work fine, and the vacuum line in is OK. However, the vacuum to open the valve to let hot water in is not working. The valve looks new, so I assume the problem is in the dash controls where vacuum is routed to it. If I take the dash off I guess I can access the controls, but it appears I have to drop the steering column a bit to get the whole dash panel off. If the control is broken somehow (I'm not sure how it works) does anyone know a place to get a replacement for that? Thanks for any help.
