Welcome to the group Bob, nice looking Chrysler.Btw Tom that front seat was used by Mopar for a number of years. Not only was the driver's side back higher then the passenger side but you'll notice that the split in the seat back and the upholstery pattern on the bottom is not in the middle of the seat. It was called a 60/40 split back seat. (I hate admitting that I'm old enough to remember these things when they were new) I'm sure Virgil Exner had something to do with this design. He was getting into asymmetrical designs before he got fired from Chrysler. My understanding is that the wind splits on the hood and trunk of the 62 Plymouth were supposed to be offset to one side but they moved them to the center before the car went into production.

Nice Car!Interesting how the front passenger back is slightly lower than the driver.Tom I forgot to mention where I was from... Omaha, Nebraska, USA and here's a picture of my car taken by the previous owner (before he left exposed to the elements for 2 years ) http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=si&img=357 I suppose if he hadn't neglected it, I wouldn have been able to get it so cheap :)
