Jim, Unless you have an impact gun that's got 500+ ft'lbs of torque, and you have the entire horse up your a$$ (nd not just the shoe), do yourself a favor...grab your saws-all, plug it in or charge up the battery and CUT THE U-BOLTS AND SPRING SHACKLE BOLTS!!! When I did the springs in my Coronet, I thought I'd just soak them and viola...they would come off...FAT CHANCE! A couple of cuts on each ubolt with a few minutes of time and they are out. Trust me...been there...done that...got the t-shirt!
