Re: Nationals/hood scoop

Bought my Maxwedge scoop from Cindy at Kramers and not a bit of problem. Did put a bit of weatherstripping adhesive on the screws to keep them tight. Ollie

Did anybody go to the Nats? Prices were CRAZY again this year! I had
cash and couldn't buy a project. Then there was the guy in the swap area
that had a 68 Hemi RR that was WASTED... no drivetrain, 8 3/4 that was
torn away from the frame, rustbucket junk. He wanted 10k for it. It was
nuts cruising again in Heath Friday nite. My wife made a little vid of
us and some others doing burnouts that I will try to load on Youtube. I
bought a Maxwedge hood scoop from Sled City, installed it Monday and it
started pulling apart from it's mounts this morning on the way to work.
I haven't talked to him yet. It looked like a solid piece. Anybody else
running one of his scoops?
