Jake: Doing some research go with the #90 bulb! It is smaller in diameter and shorter. The #1004 is rated at 12v so it is brighter, hotter and closer to lens, bad for lens. The #90 is rated at 13.5v maybe not as bright but will burn cooler and is further away from lens better for lens! As I get time I am researching using a LED that will burn a lot cooler. I have found a LED replacement for a #90 that will work but it is $14.95 each. Their has to be something less expensive. Stay tuned for further information!! Was thinking something a bit smaller might help preserve the lenses this time. That or not leaving them on like an idiot. Maybe Stearns as suggested by Gary H. Might have a slightly smaller bulb.
