RE: Low oil pressure switch



Did you replace the rotor and or the dist cap.  Sometimes the rotor is bad and will not let spark thu to the cap.  Also if you did replace the cap and rotor they may not be a match and the rotor is too far away for the electrods in the cap.  Also check and may sure that the grafite looking thing in the center of the cap is there.  Have seen them missing and the car would not start.   Make sure there is no break in the wiring going to the coil.  Did you make a mistake and hook the wire from the dist to the pos side of the coil.  Wire from dist alway goes to the neg side of coil.
