Re: Front end questions

Opinions.my,my,my... well I stayed with all rubber when I did my front end. Ploy seems to stiffen the ride...don't forget the struct and torsion bar rubbers.

My added sway bars were worth twice the price in ride and handling preformance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Christopher, seems I've read about that set-up before ... in the archives of this site, maybe? is it because the upper and lower ball joints tend to squeak when polygraphite are used? or do the ball joints just like a little more cushion, that the 'rubber' ones provide?

sounds good to me, anyway (o:

I used the polygraphite on my tie rod ends and upper and lower control arms, but used rubber (OEM) on the upper and lower ball joints. - for what it's worth.

Hi all,

I am posting this mail for a member having some mail issues right now.

Thans,
Gary H.

I have a 65 Plymouth Satellite Poly 318 (4 bbl), 727, after market
disc breaks, that I need to replace the front end. I'm thinking PST
super front end, polygraphite. I'm also thinking about adding sway
bars (front and rear?). Any advice or recommendations would be
greatly appreciated. -- Ed Morford
