When things don't go right

I was on my way to a local car show last night to show
the 64 off.As I turned a corner,I shifted 2-3 and my
shifter locked up in nuetral while still in second.
I'm also looking for a non adjustable prop valve.Mine
has a small leak. Also found I need an electric
fan.Getting a bit hotter than I like and it's not
summer yet. Any vendors sell regular prop valves?
