Sandblasting (or some other media, plastic, walnut shells etc ) or dipping for me. Soda blasting won't take off the rust.

Subject: paint- rust removal
Hi all,
What are your thoughts on paint - rust removal on the main body?
sandblasting
chemical dip
soda blasting
I am worried about the vin plate with a chemical dip. Has anyone removed the vin plate prior to this process?
Robert
