I think I will try it but not before I run it in the improved version I am preparing now. Time slips offer some real info. Regarding bog, that seems the most likely problem to me but I won't ever be coming off idle to WOT when racing as I'll be up on the converter as much as feasible. That might help prevent the bog too.
