Re: Recent restoration of a "junker"?

Labor, Labor, Labor...That is where alot of gold is spent. Also, the cost would depend on things like buying a new "B Cool" radiator vrs getting one recored is probably close to $500 difference. Brakes are the same way...buy a kit from MP Brakes or the such or junk yard crawl for '73 or up spindles and rebuild the front yourself (If you're going to disc's). The Exhaust, plus headers will probably be in the $1200 - $1500 range for cost. Labor to install it would probably be $500-$600.

So there is a trickle affect...on cost. The price of the part and the expense to install it. Body and Paint is most likey your big $$$ item. However, decide if this is a con-course resto, custom show car, dailey driver, etc... because $20k for Paint and body would make you really upset on your dailey driver when a bird sh*t's on it...

This is my opinion and all costs are approx.
Good luck,

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
