Scott I tried a 69 B body k frame in my 63 Dodge Max Clone only to find that the factory cross ram manifold hit the firewall on the passenger side and the max wedge exhauust did not fit. Stick with the 64 frame. -----Original Message----- From: "scott mcmanus" <mcmanus2301@xxxxxxx> To: "1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: 3/21/08 7:47 AM Subject: Later model cross member This may have been addressed before, but here goes.... Can anyone tell me which later model B-Body cross member gives you a little more engine set back? How do you spot one? Any obvious features? This is for my 64 Savoy purestock dragger. It's going to be setup with maxwedge and factory crossram. What kind of clearance issues can I expect with the firewall and steering etc? Does this change affect suspension locating points? I need all the rear weight I can get for starting line traction but I don't need front end alignment nightmares either!!! Thanks, Scott from LA Still looking for that Hooper Dodge Maxie!!! **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
