I sent my door hinges out to be refurbished. When I get them back, I'll need to install them and adjust the doors for looks and ease of use. It looks to me like the best way to reinstall the hinges is to put them on the car first, then the doors. Sound right? I figure on loosening the door latching mechanism on the car, get the door looking right in the hole, then start tightening the hinge and door hardware, testing as I go. While this all sounds reasonable to me, I've never done this before, so would appreciate any advice I can get from those of you who have.
