well i figured it out in a roundabout way, the drum was totally
destroyed anyway so i just set to work with a cut off wheel, and
basically and carefully  cut the drum away from the hub, , once i
relieved the tension in the drum it seperated from the hub easy enuf,
then with a big hammmer  and a big punch i got the studs out of the
hub.  what was so funny is that the other side just came apart simple.
 these front brakes were just run too long, the drums  were totally
destroyed, and i am replacing the studs too.
 I lucked out because i had a set of rear drums from a 67 coronet and
they are exactly the same as the front drums from a 65 coronet,imagine
that
