I've always thought the pushbuttons would be hard to get used to on the 1/4, and still haven't used it enough on the street to think any different. However, as the steering wheel's on the wrong side over here (on our 'regular' cars), I suppose I'm at an advantage and should be used to shifting with my left hand.
Thanks Jim, hadn't thought of it like that!As for mods to the p/b's to make it easier, I saw a while ago an article on John Cope's (of Cope Racing Transmissions) 63 Dodge which he has relocated the p/b assembly over to the right hand side, where the heater controls were. I suppose that's always an option if you're not too bothered about keeping the car original.
