I have an electric "pusher fan" w/factory fan setup on my 440 w/ the
stock big block radiator. Last summer I drove it to Lincoln, NE. for
Americruise. Temps were near 100. It was fine on the highway but as
soon as I got into city traffic the needle went up to @ 3/4 or more on
the gauge and the electric pusher fan had no effect on it. I have mine
wired to a switch so I can turn it off and on manually. On a day with
more moderate temps my gauge runs on the low end of "normal" without the
electric.
