I have fabricated the shield for the fuel pump and will attempt to install tomorrow. I'm making assumptions here and may be going to say something really stupid, but Don's design looks to be an "under the pump" shield held in place by the pump mounting bolts...and his directions for construction ("use thin aluminum") would seem to demonstrate a concern about getting the pump "up" to much and affecting its operation. So...does the gasket go under the shield or under the pump or do I need 2 gaskets? Help an old guy out here all you fellows that have done this.
