Ben, This may or may not relate, just something to check out and alleviate. I had a 84(?) Horizon, great second car. Anyways, it had a similar problem. Come to find out the big rubber gaskets/seals around the half-shafts had cracked and allowed dirt and water to get into the fittings. Thus causing pre-mature wear and a pretty good vibration, especially when the connections where put under load. The seals are located where the half-shafts meet at the transmission and the contact at the wheel hub. You need to look closely at the, a tear will not be noticeable unless you squeeze the the rubber fitting by hand. I would check these out prior to tearing into the converter. Dennis ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
