Re: upside-down MIg welding




Shouldn't have  been welding Galvanized steel anyway, that zinc can really catch fire. Makes for some spectacular green flames, though.

  Also remember to wear a respirator (N95) if not in a well ventalated area.  I bring this up because of welding some Galvenized steel on Saturday morning without a mask which lead to what's called Metal fume poisoning.  I have had a fever and shakes for 2 days.  Besides feeling like Sh!%, your energy is also zapped.
