Re: carter

yeah, the accel. pump in my Carter AFB was the first thing to go. and it was a rubber one, that just started coming apart?! hope the new one lasts longer, I think I had about 10,000 miles on it when it started giving me trouble. I bought it brand new, and it ran great right out of the box
and was an easy rebuild! so I'm still happy with it.

Easy now the edelbrock "knock off" is a far superior piece. for one thing the accel pumps are better (not made from a piece of a dried out cow) and bigger , 625 tis a bit tiny for a 383 but try it and see if You like it cause that is really all that matters. Usuallly they wont pull the skin off a grape but maybe your boss can make it boogy. Cant imagine having trouble with a 750 Holley (3310?) it is, bar none, the worlds best carb ,ever.
