I've never been a fan of car covers myself, I think they do maore damage than good sometimes. Covering a car with plastic is a big NO! NO! but parking a car on a plastic sheet is a big YES! especially if it's parked on dirt or gravel. I recently heard about a better solution than moth balls for keeping the criters out, Bounce Dryer Sheets. They work just as good or better and smell a lot better. And for some reason Bounce works works better than any other brand. (No I don't own stock in Bounce) Dan Robert neal zimmerman wrote: > > yeah, i have always been a little leary of the "cover it in tarps" > approach. seems the best way, short of actual inside storaGE, would be a > roof to keep rain off the car , but no tarps so air can circulate around > and thru the car. thats why i dont understand the watewrproof car > cover thing, seems like the same thing. once moisture gets up thru the > ground into the caR, THEN HOW DOES it get out, its trapped inside. > seems like with the windows down a bit it has a way out. > neal zimmrman, eugene oregon ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
