Re: 440 swaps

PS Anyone know if the new 5.7 Hemi can be bolted to a 904 or 727?

Don,
I'm on a RumbleBee site because I own a '05 RumbleBee and I believe
there has been talk on there about the 5.7 Hemi WILL bolt to the 727.
I'm not positive but I am pretty sure. Might be something to look into.
In a stock truck that weighs 5000 pounds, these trucks are running high
14's in two wheel drive, (4 wheel trucks are a little slower because of
the extra weight), so that motor in a lighter 62 to 65 car should run
high 12's I would think. Might be a neat swap.
