Re: Brake Drum Removal Tool

Any puller/pusher related to removing axles on front wheel drive cars will work. Depending on how long those drums were on there, you're probably going to have to rent a torch and apply some serious heat. I've been exactly where you are, and those tapered axles are a real pain. I suppose I could lend you my tool, but you should be able to get it at any Checkers/Schucks/Kragen store, actually, I got mine from Napa, not sure what the affiliate stores are where you might be, though.

Does anybody have one of those three fingered brake drum pullers for
removing our rear brake drums? Ken-Tool made one of these at one time, model
number was T-500, I believe. My drivers side rear drum WILL NOT COME OFF,
period. I found only one of these pullers at Hershey, but it was missing a
finger. I'll gladly send a deposit if anyone out there can loan me one of
  these pullers.
  Thanks! Don, 64 Belvedere
