When the throttle is wide iopen the kickdown linkage must be all the way back. Have a friend floor the pedal (Engine not running please) make sure the kick down linkage is as far back as it will go as well. If not , adjust it so it is. Everything works after that since it is in the throttle linkage natural geometry. . If the linkage can not be made to go all the way back the trans will not kickdown on our cars because they dont have part throttle kickdown like the later ones had. Try it , you ll like it Don Author of Return to Deutschland (True Adventure) Old Reliable (Mopar) http://stores.ebay.ca/Don-Dulmage-Enterprises http://seniordragster.bravehost.com/index.html [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
