It's nothing like a ratchet shifter! Rather than the
gate being horrizontal & 'H' shaped, it is vertical &
'Z' shaped. That's all. Drive one first. I bought a
trans recently & it came with a Hurst Super Shifter.
Brand new. I took it off without even using it (I've
had them before) & bought a new Hurst V-Gate. The
Super Shifter is a good shifter but the V-Gate is
better & faster. That's my opinion & I've owned both.
