I've got disc brakes with a dual master cylinder and it's very close to the exhaust manifolds. I put an aluminum plate under the master. I'd be very surprised if a power booster would fit. A good alternative is to replace your power drum brakes with Stainless Steel front discs. My '64 with SS fronts and my '63 with factory power drum brakes stop pretty much the same with just a little more pedal pressure required on the discs. Besides, the red powder coated calipers look great! Can I have both, or will my master cylinder be too close to the exhaust manifold? If so, is there a heat shield available. I really like my power brakes but really want the manifolds too.
