maybe its my backyard mechanic education, but i and
several people i know, have changed the pinion seal
and the yokes from small to big, by simply
reinstalling with an air wrench (that means tight).
none of us have had problems from this.

sometimes you just have to do it, cars really don't
have to be as complicated as some people make them.
