Zack - try a compression test.  Put in about a teaspoon of motor oil  in any 
low cylinders and test them again.  If the low cylinders  pressure come up, 
it's a ring issue.  If they remain low, it's  probably the guides.  I'm betting 
the guides are worn out.   Joe
