I think that they do not know what they are talking about.  If the trannie 
has both mounting places on the tail shaft it will worik.  The bell housing 
just are not that much different.  All tho I have a 64 bell housing if I can 
find what I did with it.I agree with the fellow who said to do a mock up.  I 
also ha ve some bell cranks.  Will ha ve to check thing out and see what I 
have.
