I don't think so.
The C318 means it is a 1967 318 engine.  A C426 would be a 1967 426.  C
is the year and the number is the size of the engine.  I have a C318 in
my 67 Coronet...wish I had the C426.

According to my books, 2806030 is also the casting number for 273.  I'm
no expert, but I'd say it's a 273 based on the 273 cast into the side
and the cast date of 1-24-67.  



And I think the C318 means C-1967, 318-Mar.18
