Jim and other Dakota fans,

There's a very active Dakota Mail List that will help answer this & all 
your Dakota questions. It has a big mail archive to search as well. 

http://dakota-truck.net/is the address. 

BTW, recently a guy on that Mail List was selling an older Shelby 
Dakota. If you're looking for a limited production performance package 
Dakota, that is the way to go, imho.
