It has had no troubles shifting at 5,000. I'm running 24 lb/hr injectors (the Mustang came with 19's), and I've modified the computer program to compensate for the additional displacement. If it has problems there are even bigger injectors to be had.

Congrats on the conversion Dave.  Did you use a Ford system from the 5.0
Mustang engine?  If so, do you expect to find any problems at the higher
rpm range with a bigger cubic inch engine?
