You have another problem.  Check for vacumn leaks around the carb base,  The 
air adjustment screws need turned up about 1 1/2 to 2 turns.  Best way is 
use a vacumn gauage to set the carb adjustment. Set it a the highest point 
it will go on the vacumn gauage.  Do not turn the screws in tight.  Check 
the timing.  May have it retarted.   Mostly it sounds like a vacumn leak.
