Re: Wheel Stud Help

Try not to cringe, but the lugs on one of my rear drums have been pressed in and out so many times
they just sort of sit in there loose? but they still bolt up good'n tight!
for what it's worth?

Jeff & Richard,

Thanks for the reply. My NAPA store now says come look through our
parts. They are too busy answering phones and looking stuff up on the
computer to actually look for the part and matching it up.
The old stud was .620 with the knurl crushed. The largest stud I could
find was .614 on the knurl. I also need the knurl to be the full length
of the sholder like the original to hold the drum.

Does anyone know a NAPA or other national parts store, Part Number for
rear axle wheel studs.

I had lots of trouble finding these too. Finally I just went to Car
Quest with an old stud and searched through their stock till I found a
reasonable match. It worked OK. I should have the info somewhere. If I
find the number I'll let you know. (Mine was a '64 Dodge)
