OK, so the wife is TOTALLY laughing at me now ... a few months ago I
found a steering wheel for my '64 Fury (my original is badly cracked).
The new wheel is in unbelievably great condition, and I paid pretty big
bucks for it, but I bought it based on some pictures that were emailed
to me.
I guess the screen resolution on my pc played tricks on me, however. My
interior is medium blue, including the steering column I has redone by
SMS, and the steering wheel, is, well ... green!
I put it on yesterday and I was thinking I could cover the circumference
of the wheel with a blue cover to hide it a bit, but egad, it looks
pretty silly. Not sure what to do, now, given that a) I paid a lot for
the darn thing, and b) my old one is in really bad shape. I guess I'll
leave it for now and put up with the chuckles ...
