Re: Trans Filter

no problem, Here's what it says in the
'Installation Instructions'
"This filter will improve transmission performance
and extend it's life when installed and used
according to directions. A plastic magnet
attracts and holds ferrous wear metals suspended
in the fluid. If the paper element becomes clogged
with contaminants, a pressure relief valve assures
continuous fluid flow. withstands pressures up to 200 psi."
... sounds like a-lot of hype... so, I got one of those small,
but curiously strong magnets from an old computer hard drive.
And stuck it, on the bottom of the trans pan, for good measure!

Thanks, Schuyler, and all you guys, for the info.
And, Schuyler, what is a "magnetic" filter?
Sorry, don't you hate it when the answer to a question breeds more questions!
Thanks.

Hope this helps with your cross-referencing.

While we're on the subject, are the in-line trans filters for a 727

Thanks for any help.
