I don't have power brakes, and Yeah, the pedals hard, like a couple of 
anvils up front that bring my wagon to a stop!
With the big discs up front, the harder I push the quicker I stop! no 
more fading, or pulling, or high speed chatter,
just rock solid braking and less grey hair production. I know this may 
not help with your problem, but maybe feel
a little better, anyway? (o:
