That 1962 is such a nice survivor type example I'd probably just leave it as is. Plus, the 3-on-the-tree is likely even more confusing to today's generation(s) than the pushbutton transmission! Either one is quite a conversation starter at a car show. Never mind the engine that slants to one side. :) The fellow wants to convert the nice 4 door into a two door and make the Dodge a Max Wedge clone. I understand that urge. I am, however, reminded of the many projects that start off with the best of intentions but never get finished; (looking in a mirror right now). But I wish him well in his endeavors.
