Re: 1965 Plymouth Satellite Convertible sells

I saw a 440 powered, A/C unit in a box in the trunk, '65 Satellite Convertible go for about $20K at Barett-Jackson Scottsdale 4 or 5 years ago. It was a very good car but wasn't a true 426S factory car - think it was originally a 273. I think the A/C in the trunk really hurt the price.

The seller later offered to buy my '65 Satellite Convertible originally from Las Vegas with the original 383 4bbl in it and I know it's a solid car (be surprised if there's much more than a skim coat of body filler on it) and thought $30k was a ridiculous price - thought it was worth less than his car and walked away. I figured mine needed under $5,000 to get to a high #4 scale if he paid a pro to do the work.
