Also, I recall a few years ago one of the major suppliers of sheet metal patches (Auto Metal Direct I think) abruptly stopped making a lot of 62-65 stuff and I think scrapped what they had in inventory to provide warehouse space for faster moving inventory.  The vendors like Summit were just distributors of those parts. The cowl patch panels may have been one of the casualties. :(  Maybe some new vendor will make a run of these. As was mentioned here, call a current supplier of 62-65 parts like Joe Suchy and he will know the status of the cowl repair patch. Let us know what he says too please.
