1979 Movie with 1965 Plymouth

Happy July 4th to our USA members! Happy weekend to others elsewhere. :) 

Here is a movie you may want to watch over the weekend.  It is a 1979 movie that was originally aired on ABC TV.
The movie is called "Hot Rod" but it also was called "Rebel of the Road" too. Notably, at the start of the movie, the main character drives a 1965 Plymouth sedan, (A990?).

Also, the music in the film may remind you somewhat of the "American Graffiti" movie soundtrack, though not as many well-known tunes are included. One of songs  is "Somethin' Else" by a band called "Jerry Z & The Superchargers" for example. :)
