LED bulbs?

Anybody have any experience replacing the "little" bulbs , like dome lights, etc. with LEDs? My off era mopar has opera lights(  AKA c-pillar lights, sail panel lights), equipped with festoon bulbs and the receptacles are all dried out and cracked and the bulb  jaws have lost tension and the bulbs hit the interior tinwork and blow the fuse.

   I think the bulb number is 211 or something and I am trying to figure out if I can find some aftermarket bulb holders that I can monkey rig in there.
