the deck height on a rb is supposedly 1" taller than a b block, which would make it about 0.7" taller vertically

there is a differance in highth and it is the top. how many times have we 
seen 440s put in super bees or roadrunners with fresh air hoods, only to see the 
fiberglass get cracked as soon as the hood is closed?
