went to Wildcat yesterday, looks like that would be a better place to
shop, at least around here. They had some pretty good deals on some "
project cars". They had a 1970 Challenger with a running driving big
block for 4000 dollars. pretty straight too. Granted , yes , this was
only an original 318 car but at only 1500 bucks more than that rolling
piece of rusted shipwreck I looked at that got me so all fired up, it
was ten times the car.
Had some other cool project cars too, including a six cylinder 1963
Dodge 330 post for 1500 bucks.OOOHHHH! was that tempting.
They seem like a good bunch too, and nice to talk to Ed Yost as he
knows Mopars and can actually tell u something when u ask questions
in the line of will this fit that, etc.
Maybe i'll just bite a bigger bullet and shop with them when I need
stuff although the cost is higher. But in the long run it probably
isnt.
They came thru golden on my Charger I got from them, solid as he
claimed and delivered too!
Only 100 miles away anyway.
P.S.- (sorry for talking about Challengers and Chargers, i know
theyre just pieces of crap compared to the 62-65 Mopars, hee
hee!)
